    • >> Tough little sucker! - I purchased this case for my iPhone about 2 months ago. I usually take very good care of all of my cell phones but do drop them on occasion. I did drop my iPhone in this case at least twice. No damage, not even a scratch was done to the phone or the case for that matter. If you do a search online you can find a video of a user that throws his iPhone out a second story window with this case on while playing a video. He retrieves the phone and the video is still playing. He removes the case and there is not a mark on the phone. This case will keep all scratches dents and even dust from your phone. If for some reason you do take it out the phone will be pristine like it was brand new with no fingerprints except for the ones you just now put on. I like the fact that all plugs and buttons are also covered. The plugs for the earbuds and dock are covered but you have to do is open the flap. I've looked at other cases where they are plugs that are removed and you can loose the plugs. With this case there is no losing the plugs they are attached. Like other reviews they must have changed the design because I had no problems with sound from the felt covering the mike and speaker holes. Actually, mine just has like clear plastic covering those holes. No echo with mine. As for the oily "water mark" that appears on the screen with this case here's an insider tip. Before you put the case on, clean the inside of the screen protector and your iphone screen with LCD screen cleaner. No oily water mark. And if for some reason one does appear later, just clean with the LCD screen cleaner. The only cons I have are that the case takes time to remove. I don't see a reason to remove the case but it does make the phone twice as big as it really is. I need this sturdy case for work but when not working it would be nice if smaller but then you would loose the protection. Too much hassle to change to a smaller case when not needed. Secondly, if you use FM transmitter docks in your vehicle like I do to listen to the iPod they will not work with this case. The case guards the dock recepticle. I had to purchase a dock extender cable to work with my FM transmitter. The smaller dock plugs work too but you need to modify them with a dremel to work. All in all, I highly recommend this case even after having to buy the dock extender cable. I actually just bought another one because dummy me I just lost my iPhone.
    • >> Sweet Case. - I picked this case up as my first (and only) iPhone case. I have young children, so durability and protection were the two main features I was going after. I needed something that looked good, protected my investment and was fully functional at the same time. I easily found it with the Otterbox Defender case. Let me start by sharing the pros: It is durable. I have dropped it, or had it dropped, off tables, couches and chairs onto hardwood floors, concrete and tile. After my heart starts beating again and I have the opportunity to inspect my phone, it always comes away unscathed. Its easy to hang onto. I have shovels for hands, so this adds some girth to an otherwise small and slippery phone and makes it very easy to hold. (Any time I try and take the case off, I feel like its going to slip out of my hands.) The rubber is high quality and doesn't stretch... I've removed and replaced the case dozens of times and there is no show of stretching from the rubber. It also doesn't attract too much lint... although it does some, its easy to clean off without much effort. Provides easy access to necessary ports. With the exception of one after-market car charger, I haven't had a problem getting headphones, auxiliary cables, or chargers to fit into the ports without removing the case. Now the cons: Let me address the "oil-slick" issue. The built in screen protector is probably the biggest design flaw of the whole case. As much as I love it, this is why it has lost a complete "star" in my rating. If this weren't an issue, even in light of the other cons listed below, I would have given the case a 5 star rating. I tried all the little tricks everyone mentioned when they have these issues with the screen protector, and nothing worked adequately to me. So, I cut it off. I had a screen protector on the phone already, so doubling up only was good if it were going to take a direct splash of liquid on the screen... which I will take my chances in avoiding. This may pose some lifestyle adjustments to some of you. No standing out in the pouring rain surfing the web, texting or sending emails. You'll have to go inside or hang onto an umbrella. No using your phone while you're shooting the rapids in your kayak, canoe or raft. Keep it in a ziploc bag. No immersing it in the bathtub, swimming pool or hot tub. Those under-water photos wouldn't have turned out anyway. And finally, if you're that sloppy of a drunk that you can't keep from spilling your beer on your phone, then perhaps you're not a big enough boy to handle such an investment anyway. Go back to snail mail, tin cans or conch shells. If none of these are issues you are plagued with in your everyday use of your iPhone, then taking a razor knife and cutting off the screen protector shouldn't be a big deal for you. I did it, I'm fine, and you will be too. It is a little bit on the bulky side and adds a bit of weight to the phone. This is to be expected from something offering such durability and protection, though. But that being said, it doesn't slide in and out of jeans pockets very easily, and is a noticeable tug in khakis and shorts pockets. I have never used the clip that came with it, so if you're into that sort of thing this may be a non-issue for you. The ports, while offering great protection don't necessarily offer the greatest accessibility. The mute slider button on the side is very easy to turn the ringer off, but getting it turned back on is not as easy. I don't have long fingernails, so its difficult to get my finger in there to pry it back on. The power/charging port fits the Apple plug that comes with your phone, but I bought an aftermarket charger for my car and it won't fit through the plastic frame of the case... so anytime I'm in my car and need to charge my phone, I need to take the phone completely out of the case. Also, the light sensor for the auto-brightness feature on the iPhone is covered, so there isn't any automatic adjusting of the screen brightness. Side notes: I have heard some criticism from people alleging that the plastic covering the camera port interferes with their photos and makes them seem blurred. No offense, but these people are morons. If there is some sort of blurring effect going on, its either because they have a finger print on the camera lens of the phone itself, or on either side of the plastic part of the case. Simply cleaning thoroughly will avoid this problem. If that doesn't take care of it, skip the last cup of coffee in the morning and try to hold your hands more steady... or, like the screen protector, just cut it off (although for protecting the camera on the phone itself, I really wouldn't recommend this). I've also read some criticism from people regarding the "window" in the back of the case revealing the apple logo. I don't see what's wrong with it. Personally, I love the fact that it shows this off. I have an iPhone. I have the most superior piece of personal electronic equipment. And I am proud of that. I want everyone to see it. I don't want to cover it and make someone wonder, "is that an iPhone?" No, I want them to see it and know, beyond of a shadow of a doubt that my phone is better than theirs. Summary: This is a great case. I love it and haven't regretted buying it for a moment. I would buy it again a hundred times over. Is it perfect? No. But then again, no case is. But I still love it!
    • >> Awesome - I love this case. it has protected my phone against my 1 year olds playing. but still allows for you to be able to talk listen and use the phone. i didnt give it 5 stars because of the bubbles it gets and the clip on holder thing. but i dont use the holder anyway. and the bubbles are not that big of a deal to me.. i can live with them. i am not going to test the water protection but so far dropping the phone from waist high and getting it thrown on the ground repeatedly by my daughter there is no damage to the phone or the case. if anything happened to mine i'd buy another one.

One word of caution for anyone who is a perfectionist, since this is a pebble grain the finish is not perfectly smooth ,also it does have some natural marks which adds to the overall character. I also love the saddle tan finish it's not too dark or too light. Also the cover does fold back if you like to fold back your book covers. I do agree with another reviewer that the inside pocket should be a little larger to accomodate a passport However it is large enough to hold your business card or other ID. You're worth it splurge on this cover!

Style - This case is stylish on it's on, but I found it more flattering when I mixed / switched the silicon covers of the white and black Defenders. Durability - You can play basketball, using your phone as the ball, If you have this case! :-)! Not really! I got my black defender from the "phone store" and it was $20.00 more than the white one I got on Amazon. Pros and Cons The holster - The holster does a good job of holding the phone, however, if you don't be sure and tuck in the charge / sync port cover it won't fit right and will fall out! You can lose your phone like that if you are not careful, but if it drops, it will be protected! Make sure you tuck that cover in! The holster works well as a stand for watching videos or browsing the net, etc. That's one of the best functional features of this case. Silicon Cover - White - The white cover doesn't get dirty as fast as I thought it would. It will stay clean for weeks and once it becomes dirty, take it off and it's easy to wash in cold water and hand soap. just dry it off and replace it! Black - The black cover - it picks up lint and other debris, but You can take it off and wash it just like mentioned above. Screen Protector - I use a screen protector that I bought separately along with the defender's screen protector and I still get great response from the touch screen. I wouldn't recommend taking the screen protector off of the cover, because dirt, sand, debris can get into the case if you do that. Keeping the protector on ensures a nearly scratch proof phone after years of use. It is only posable to get scratches at the charge port, silencer and head phone jack. However, they will be minimal. Overall - I feel this case is the best on the market if you want your phone to work and look like new for years to come. It is a bit highly priced, but if you purchase it from Amazon it will be worth every penny! DJ BIG MONAY

I bought this cover/protector for my husband and LOVED his (but his cover was black to match his iphone) and I was so excited when I saw it in white to match mine! I love the cover (both hard-shell and rubber), the belt clip doesn't work very well (phone falls out - this we tested on the kitchen counter and opted not to use them) .... and since we didn't buy these protectors to be used as a belt clip holder we weren't bummed about that flaw. LOVE LOVE LOVE this protector! So pretty and practical!

I carry my dell studio 1747 wich has a screen 17.3" with a sleeve over it, to protect it the sleeve is not needed because the backpack has a very padded area for the laptop itself I just use it to make sure it will be safe. The backpack is made of a very strong material and it's very comfortable to carry it around even with the heavy cargo inside. I recomend this product to everyone that is looking for a bag to carry a laptop around with the rest of their stuff inside. enough space for everything..... good looking also

The laptop sits in a padded sleeve inside the backpack, and the sleeve is secured with an elastic velcro tab. There are more than enough zippered pockets to fit all my portable drives, mouse and power cord. It looks nice, and isn't at all bulky. The only odd thing, as others have said, is the bottle opener in one of the front pockets. A little strange, but it doesn't bother anything.

Much to my delight, the dark brown cover was there to choose from, and I love it. It is elegant. I like the feel and smell of it, as well as the ability to use it like a book or fold it back. It is held securely in the cover, which gives me more to hold when reading it, and I'm not concerned about it sliding away or getting scratched. I would recommend it highly.

The leather is high quality and very smooth. The front cover folds back easily behind the Kindle making it very easy to hold. The hinge locks are metal and so far have been very durable. The business card holder is a nice touch as if I were to ever leave my Kindle on a plane, I would hope that someone would return my Kindle to me. My only complaint is that it is not worth the $99 dollar price tag, when the $30 version from m-edge provides a higher value. My wife has the m-edge version which is a cheaper price and provides a corner flap for extra security. While the business card holder is nice, it prevents the cover from laying completely flush. I am definitely happy with the case and its overall quality. I probably would not buy it again as there are two nice alternatives from m-edge and octovo.

The top clip has the most used spring, and seems to be well fortified to last longer than most of the same style. I paid less than half of the list price for this purse, since I bought it at a discount store. While this purse seems well-made, and is big enough to carry most things women carry with them in the course of a day, I do not believe it is worth the list price. The zippers they used don't move easily - I have to use two hands on them most of the time (mainly to close the zippers). The strap is kind of thin, somewhat like a seatbelt (except thinner than a seatbelt). It has no padding whatsoever. The adjustment buckle is plastic. There is only one zipper compartment inside the purse. However, it does have three slim pockets on the outside (if you put anything that isn't thin in these you'll notice that the item will cause an ugly bulge inside and outside the bag). The lining on this pattern is black, which is a bad idea. (It is about time that all purse manufacturers abandoned dark-colored linings for purses.) One major plus is the dividing wall - this means you have two fairly large areas to keep things in, and everyone doesn't have to see all that's in your bag when you just want to take out your wallet. Also, the expansion zipper feature is nice to have, though I expect most people would just leave it expanded all the time. I would only zip up the expansion zipper if I were packing it in luggage to take on a trip. It is very lightweight, which does make it a good choice for traveling. All in all, I wouldn't purchase it again unless I could get it again for less than half of list price. By the way, the label on the inside of this purse indicates it was made in the Dominican Republic. The profit margin on this must be pretty high when people pay $78.00 for them.

Now this is a very pretty bag and we would have kept it except that our experience with another lesportsac bag with the "patent" finish is that tiny flecks of it chip off since it is bonded to the fabric underneath. This product is very well made and judging from my wife's experience with her other ones will last almost forever so we decided to return this one and get the one she really wanted (black) at a local store as Amazon no longer had it. Of the many products I've ordered from Amazon, this was the first time I received one that was not what I requested.
